《战争黎明2：报应》是Relic Entertainment的RTS重磅之作，也是《战争黎明2》的第二款独立资料片。故事发生在《战争黎明2：混沌崛起》的数年后，在该作中玩家可以以不同种族的视角体验单人战役模式，这在《战争黎明2》系列中尚属首次。第一个被披露的种族是“狂暴兽人”。但无论选择哪一种族，玩家都将体验到体验一段史诗般的旅程。
